Super Bowl LVII: Eagles Win in Sight?

In a matter of days, Eagles fans will finally see their team play in the Super Bowl again! After waiting five years for this day, fans are practically bouncing with excitement. The question is, will the Eagles bring home a trophy?

This Sunday, at 6:30 PM in Arizona, our beloved Philadelphia Eagles will verse the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams have had prior success in the Super Bowl – The Eagles last played in 2018, beating the Patriots, and the Chiefs won against the 49ers in 2020. Personally, I don’t closely follow football, but I have a feeling that this is going to be an intense game.

What does Lenape think?

With Eagles jerseys all around the school and “Fly, Eagles, Fly” music playing in the halls, I think it’s fair to say most of Lenape is rooting for the Eagles. In fact, I asked 25 Lenape juniors and seniors who they think will win the Super Bowl, and all but one person said they think the Eagles will win. Students believe that the Eagles have had a great season and can win one more game, and others think that the Chiefs are no match for the Eagles. Some students have even sworn allegiance to the Eagles and refuse to even consider the Chiefs winning.

As the game is less than a couple of days away, it’s time to make your own predictions: who do you think will win the Super Bowl? Do you agree with the students I interviewed, or do you think they are completely wrong? Answer in the Super Bowl poll on the Smoke Signal’s Home Page!

Regardless of who you are rooting for, I hope you have a great Super Bowl Sunday! But, personally… FLY, EAGLES, FLY!
