Jasmine Philip, Staff Writer
Hi! My name is Jasmine Philip (although I am more commonly referred to as Jman, or any of my other 17 nicknames). I'm a sophomore here at Lenape and I'm very excited to be writing for the school newspaper this year. Since I am truly terrible at describing myself, I asked some people what they thought of me and they said some surprisingly nice things, some of which included creative, organized, and helpful. Music is a really big deal to me; I've been playing the piano since I was 6-ish and the flute since I was 10. Due to my passion of music, I am in the Lenape Marching Band, which I love immensely. Since most of my academic aspects are more science and math related, the Smoke Signal is a great way to express my creative side. I'm thrilled to be part of the Smoke Signal for my second year and I hope to help in making it the best year yet!
