PSAT Champions

SAT’s and PSAT’s prove to be stressful for juniors, but here at Lenape, students are excelling at the PSAT’s!  Twelve Lenape students received a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Program.  This award indicates that they placed in the top 5% on the PSAT.

In addition, two of Lenape’s own, David Kim and Zachary Silver, were recently announced Semifinalists of the National Merit Scholarship Program.  This honor is awarded to approximately 16,000 students nationwide who have earned exceptionally high PSAT scores.  This year, the New Jersey cutoff score to become a semifinalist was 224, the highest of all states! Only The District of Columbia had the same cutoff score.

David and Zachary are qualified to continue in the competition and receive one of the 8,000 Merit Scholarship awards offered starting in March.  Congratulations guys, and good luck!
