On May 3, 2017, Lenape families and faculty members gathered in the auditorium to recognize students who have stood out among the crowd. Students from all grades were nominated by faculty members for a variety of different reasons. Some students were recognized for their hard work in the classroom, some were recongized for their work outside of the classroom, and some were recognized for being an overall model student.

Junior Kyle Patel was in attendance and spoke very highly of the event. “It felt great to be recognized for being myself. It was a great event, and I was definitely surprised I was nominated”.

Senior Emory Alexander had similar thoughts and simply said, “It was awesome!”.

The night was definitely a very special experience for all of the Lenape faculty and students there. Look out for the People’s Choice Awards next year!
