Interview with Roma Soni
Isabel: “What is your biggest piece of advice for incoming freshmen?”
Roma: “Okay, my biggest advice is to leave all middle school drama in middle school because nobody wants to deal with it in high school, because it is not that deep. My other piece of advice is to put yourself out there and try things you never really learned about, and if you are going to talk to upperclassmen, be careful about which upperclassmen you talk to, because some of them do not care. So in reality, you need to talk to the right people and make sure your friends are right because they will be sticking with you, and don’t be afraid to leave people.”
Isabel: “That’s really good advice, thanks for sharing.”
Interview with Zaina Abbas
Isabel: “What advice do you have for incoming students?”
Zaina: “Okay, so don’t make your grades your entire life, you are never going to live. And your friends aren’t always going to be your friends.”
Isabel: “Thanks, Zaina.”
Interview with Luke Watkins
Isabel: “Okay, what advice do you have for the upcoming class?”
Luke: “I know everyone says this, but I think the biggest thing is to get involved, and if something interests you, join that club. If you ever think about doing a sport, I would recommend it. I mean, I just started playing volleyball this year, and I somehow got into Junior Varsity, so that was cool. And like to try new things because this is your freshman year, and you have to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life, so trying new things right now is going to narrow down your path for the future.”
Interview with Vikshith Anagandla
Isabel: “What advice do you have for the incoming freshmen?”
Vikshith: “Don’t get stressed out with your grades and just enjoy it.”
Isabel: “That’s the last question. Thanks for letting me interview you.”
